Grants
The Foundation believes systemic change resulting in expanded access to health care is possible through targeted grantmaking, policy research, and public education. Through its grantmaking, the Foundation seeks to leverage the success of community organizations devoted to expanding access to care and reducing barriers to services by funding successful community models and encouraging innovative program development. The Foundation’s funding priorities include support of coordinated care for the uninsured, connecting low-income patients with primary care, strengthening advocacy for the uninsured, promoting cultural competence in health care, and fostering collaboration in children’s mental health services.
