This grant program area supports one-time capacity-building expenses for organizations that serve the health care needs of vulnerable populations.

Connecting Consumers with Care
At this time, this grant program area is not accepting proposals. We expect to open it again in spring 2012. These grants support organizations that help consumers enroll in and maintain access to coverage, collaborate with advocacy organizations to address system-level barriers, and educate and equip consumers to utilize the health care system more effectively and appropriately.

Making Health Care Affordable: Preserving Access and Improving Value
At this time, this grant program area is not accepting proposals. We expect to open it again in fall 2012. These grants support substantive cost containment initiatives that maintain or improve access and quality of care. They provide an opportunity to develop, expand, test, and measure the impact of cost containment strategies in Massachusetts in order to ensure the sustainability of the access gains the state has made.

Strengthening the Voice for Access
At this time, this grant program area is not accepting proposals. We expect to open it again in spring 2012. These grants support organizations whose mission and activities focus significantly on promoting the health care interests of Massachusetts residents through strategic advocacy.
