Eligibility and Selection
The participants will come from a variety of backgrounds and represent diverse employment situations, such as:
- New executive directors with no prior experience heading an organization, senior and mid-level managers with at least seven years of experience
- Clinicians ready for a transition to administration
- Direct service or program managers seeking senior management appointments
- Advocacy and policy managers with a goal of organizational leadership
Applicants must submit a complete application package which includes five (5) copies of each of the following:
- Application
- Personal essay
- CEO/Organization Commitment and Recommendation
- Colleague Recommendation
- Current resume
A Selection Committee made up of members of community health leaders, staff of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation, and MICHL alumni will evaluate the applications and select a slate of finalists to be interviewed. Final selection of participants will be made by the Selection Committee following the interview process.
